HM Government has partnered with SANS to train cyber security experts. Partner Content According to the Cyber Security Breaches Survey 26 percent of medium businesses, 37 percent of large businesses and 25 percent of high-income charities have experienced cyber crime in the last 12 months. With cyber security experts in high demand, finding the right talent to help protect your business can be difficult. Graduates from the Upskill in Cyber programme undergo a rigorous training process to become certified in globally recognised cyber security qualifications, and be ready for employment by businesses in need of cyber security talent. Earlier this year, HM Government partnered with SANS to launch Upskill in Cyber. This is an intensive, accelerated training programme, designed to help aspiring cyber security professionals acquire the skills they need to launch their careers and connect them with the right industry roles.   This year's programme received a record 4,600 applications, with the top 7 percent chosen based on aptitude-based assessments and awarded a place on the programme. Graduates complete GIAC Foundational Cyber Security Technologies (GFACT) and GIAC Security Essentials Certifications (GSEC), covering essential cyber security concepts such as programming, cryptography, and forensics. These certifications demonstrate practical capabilities and knowledge, making graduates highly sought-after by employers. Upskill in Cyber is committed to connecting these talented graduates with local companies, ensuring they can contribute to the growth and success of the UK cybersecurity industry. Director of Operations of e2e-assure, Jim Fox, has had a long-standing employer partnership with SANS and says that taking on board talent from the Upskill in Cyber programme has benefitted e2e-assure as a company and his integral team.
